I (19) and my 51-year-old mother went on vacation to Amsterdam and wanted to try something new for her birthday. She wanted to try cannabis cookies, so we went to this store and she told me to ask ask the employee which edibles were the best, so I did and he said the Space Pops were good. So we bought them for about €12 and got a pack with three pieces. I think each contained 0.5 grams of cannabis. We both had two and a half and ate them right away without reading the instructions on the package – which turned out to be a very big mistake. We walked from the coffeeshop to the hotel for about half an hour. On the way back, I already started to feel very relaxed. Just a few minutes after we arrived at the hotel, my mother completely freaked out. She told me she felt extremely hot, that our eyes were trembling and that she was afraid of dying. I was very scared for her. Then it was my turn… My whole body was tingling and I began to cry uncontrollably. It felt like I was no longer in my body, as if I had left it, as if it wasn’t a part of me anymore. I questioned everything, had thousand thoughts, couldn’t sit still, was shaking and couldn’t even close my eyes. It was the worst thing I have ever experienced. It’s been almost a day and I still don’t feel normal. I truly thought we were going to die and at some moments I even thought we were already dead because I couldn’t feel my body and didn’t feel any pain, even when I pinched or scratched myself. I also felt very hot and was sweating a lot. Long story short: Don’t do drugs. They were tasty tho and didn’t taste like Cannabis..

Very bad experience in a place I used to buy frequently. But I am considering never coming back after what happened. Despite the manager who acts professional and do his work accordingly. The rest of the clerks just laugh at you. I was standing in a very slow line because the someone was paying with change, which was this costumers right. No problem so far, I asked politely the other costumers to change my line to another. And this guy behind the counter refuses to take my order even though everybody else was ok with it. And when I tried to explain he said: I don't care. Well I don't care about your organization at the store. The ell with that. If costumers agreed who you think you are to say no? Very disrespectful and arrogant attitude for nothing.

the vendors treated me with respect. pointed out bunk stuff and recommended alternatives. I am from a country where grass is pretty widely available so i can assure you they weren't trying to scam, they tell it like it is. Pre rolls were a bit heavy on the tobacco in some cases but its the name of the game. buy quality its amsterdam. you can get some really primo stuff.
