Foreigners are treated differently. I was asked for my identity card just for that. I'm 35 years old... And I noticed that the 4 people before me hadn't needed it... So I show my ID card, okay it's not a big deal. But then the waiter lied to me and told me that normally he couldn't sell to me but that he was doing me a favor. Too bad, I know perfectly well that the only three provinces bordering Belgium prohibit sales to foreigners. Why lie to me like that? I've been going to coffee shops since I was 18 and I've never felt so unwelcome. I would have spent more but after all that I didn't feel like it. I don't understand why people have to take 1.1g instead of 1g on some weed and not others... Otherwise a pleasant setting, decent weed but not worth the detour. Edit: You are legally obliged to ask everyone for their ID. You declare yourself at fault in a public way haha.
