We miss Bruno! Came here a couple of years ago and had the best experience, fantastic coffee and a really relaxed vibe. Visiting again this year it felt like I had slightly rudely walked into someone’s sitting room.. a group of mates just chatting around the counter. Visited twice, both times the same. Just didn’t such have a welcoming vibe. Coffee was still amazing though. Really, really good coffee.

Popped into this place while on a walk and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. This is the best coffee I have ever had, not just in Amsterdam, anywhere. I regularly think back upon it fondly. Amsterdam doesn't crack the top 50% of places I have traveled to but I would go back just for this coffee.

One of the best coffees I've ever had. And enjoyed the chill local vibe.

Bruno’s Amsterdam was a happy surprise — I found it while wandering around the canals, just when I was craving a coffee. On Google Maps I noticed it had a 4.9 rating, so of course I had to check it out. One sip and I was blown away. Even though I ordered a latte, the espresso’s bold flavors really stood out. It had a strong, full-bodied bitterness with notes of chocolate, nuts, and caramel, all balanced by silky, velvety foam. Absolutely delicious! Bruno’s Amsterdam feels understated — not a trendy, modern café, and not often mentioned in recommendations. But it has that cozy, local vibe that fits Amsterdam perfectly. Seating is limited, and they offer a few simple pastries, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot than a place for a long afternoon tea.

Chanced upon this espresso bar as I was walking. Very quaint and lovely owner who is so knowledgeable and very very accommodative to how you’d like to have your cuppa! Awesome blends and you’d sure to find your taste profile of coffee here! Highly recommend if you’re in the area
