Don’t trust these reviews saying it’s a hidden gem. It’s a little dive cafe with a dull and sketchy vibe. Just guys smoking in silence on their phones. It’s round the corner from my hotel but I’ll be walking past it tonight despite the cold weather!

This little hidden gem could be the highlight of this trip. Yeah ok, maybe it's not so hidden, but I'd never been up this road before this trip.... I'm real glad I have now. This shop is a new fave. The upstairs seating is so cosy and the staff were so welcoming. Can't wait to come back.
Straight Up Boxing
Great little coffeeshop we stayed at the concoius Hotel which is a 2 minute walk to vondel coffeshop. Mainly visited this shop in the morning. Which I found to be quiet and very chilled. Great place to enjoy a quiet smoke away from the crowds around ledisplien and the red-light area

We came to the shop looking for a mild vegan edible to share amongst two people. We told the guy at the register that we’re not experienced users and are only looking for something mild to share, and that we wanted the space cake. Instead, the suggested we share the space pop. We asked him if that one is stronger and that we want the mild one, he said the pop is good for beginners, especially if we share. Long story short, we ended up severely overdosed and poisoned. It took us hours to be able to even move again. Two days later we still feel out of it. That space pop (oreo) tasted great, beginners should stay away.
