Friendly and the coffeeshop with the earliest opening times. To all the reviews saying they ignore you if you dont speak dutch - well what are they supposed to do if they dont understand you? We are in Groningen, in the deep north, not cosmopolitan Amsterdam. Only criticism I recognize, is that they are slightly more expensive (they sell gov weed for 25e for 5g, where other shops sell it for 21e) but the diff is minimal.

This little gem of a spot in Groningen is a really good coffee shop, the staff are very welcoming and helpful and the shop is really cool with pinball machines and TV and pool tables and stuff , the weed is really top quality and top quality strains to choose from , there is also a little tropical pond in the garden are with tropical fish that are at least 30 years old , the best coffee shop in the Netherlands in my opinion and I have been all over , don’t miss this wee coffee shop it’s a must see 👍

Got overcharged there last night and when I asked her why the sudden price increase she made up some story about how tobacco prices were increased by the government and that’s why it had gone up … lol. It’s already the most expensive kofieshop in the city and the staff are always very unfriendly, especially towards foreigners. Only reason I go here is because it’s the closest one to my house but I’m just going to walk to one of the multiple other kofieshops from now on, all of which provide much warmer service. De Medley is my recommendation.

It's a few years since I was there, but this was always a very unfriendly shop for foreigners with staff actively ignoring people who were not speaking Dutch. The only reason we went there ever was it was opening earlier than most shops and we had a ferry to make to get back home.
